NovaCool AFFF 1% and AFFF 3% are currently being tested in Poland for the European Union market under the stringent EN 1568-3 norm. Seattle Fire Department has stocked their new fireboat Seattle Firefighter 1 and their existing fireboat Chief Seattle with NovaCool UEF 0.4%. A subsurface ground fire burning for 4 days in a vegetation landfill site in West Richland, WA could not be controlled by traditional fire fighting support from the local Fire Department. |
